Presented by data visualisation guru, Alan Rutter, ‘Telling Stories with Data’ is a one-day training workshop jointly hosted by ARMA and HESPA. It will cover the principles and skills involved in presenting data to a variety of audiences, ranging from the simplest Excel charts and graphs, through to more complex visuals.

The workshop content will include bespoke material and case studies relevant to ARMA and HESPA members, delivered in a train-the-trainer format, with shareable frameworks, approaches and resources. All sessions are a mix of formal presentation, group discussion, and practical exercises.

The workshop is anyone who needs to present data to other people – whether you’re distilling down a complex data set for a lay audience, or using data as part of a wider range of communications.

The day will include a facilitated discussion on the key challenges and needs of the attendees.
