Can other HEIs let me know how they handle the ‘Salary Top-up’ budget of £5,000 awarded to Newton fellows. Is this payment made via Accounts Payable as a ‘subsistence cost’ or is the payment made via HR which would attract on-costs?

We transfer the funds to their employer and have them pay it.
