Dear all,

I was wondering if colleagues had developed a way of working with their development office which made it quite clear what the remit and responsibilities of each service (development or research services) were when dealing with research activities.

In my institution, we are currently trying to define what philanthropic income is or what philanthropic donors are in the context of Research in order to clarify how or who would be managing the internal processes and how the funds would be reported on, but we don’t seem to be progressing very much and I wonder if anyone had gone through this before and could share their experience on the matter.
