The starting point for the new suite was the more recently negotiated Scottish University templates. These were much more streamlined than the previous Brunswick templates and it was a case of adding clauses back in rather than taking them out. Everyone was encouraged to keep the agreements as streamlined as possible and positive cases were made on the value of different elements from the old agreements or parties own templates which members wanted to be included.
