Survey: Safeguarding in international development research

UKCDR are working to develop principles and guidance to support good safeguarding practice in international development research. Earlier this year, they commissioned an independent evidence review, which highlighted the nature of safeguarding issues in the context of international development research, and reviewed existing policies and practices. Drawn from this review, a draft set of principles and good practice guidance were developed.

In the next phase of this work, they are now undertaking consultations with relevant stakeholders to finalise and validate these principles, and would really appreciate the input of the ARMA community. The University of Liverpool, who are leading this next phase of work, have developed a survey in partnership with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to guide this next phase.

Please find the survey (in English, French and Spanish) and further details here: https://www.ukcdr.org.uk/resource/survey-safeguarding-in-international-development-research/

They would particularly appreciate if you could also share this survey within your university networks, as they are extremely keen to receive feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.
