ARMA qualifications are a core part of the Association’s professional development offering, accredited by the ATHE. Our qualifications have been designed to support research administrators, managers and leaders to develop the skills they need to succeed in their roles, and to take their careers to the next level. Since launching in 2013, we have supported nearly 450 learners.
To ensure we maintain the quality and integrity of the qualifications, and to keep pace with the growing demand, we are now looking to extend our pool of assessors for our Certificate in Research Management Foundation and Advanced programmes. Assessors are existing ARMA members, who bring expertise in the particular topics covered by the qualifications. They may have already completed one of the Certificates, and now want to use that knowledge to develop further skills. You can find out more about the qualifications by accessing the handbooks on the ARMA website.
This is a one-hour information webinar recorded on Monday 11 May for those interested in joining our team of assessors. Here we will tell you more about the programme, what our assessors do, and what training and support is available for new assessors. There is of course no obligation to commit at this point. The webinar is simply to give you a fuller understanding of what’s involved.
Introduced by Julie Bayley, ARMA’s Director of Qualifications, the webinar will feature short presentations by Pauline Muya, Steff Hazlehurst and ARMA’s Qualifications Delivery Officer, Katherine Carlyon.
