Event Details
In May, the four UK HE funding bodies launched the Future Research Assessment Programme (FRAP), which will explore what national research assessment might look like after REF 2021. As part of this work, the funding bodies are holding early discussions with key stakeholders to understand their priorities and concerns regarding future assessment exercises. These discussions will explore what a future system should reward and recognise and consider how it might do this. They are keen to hear from ARMA members to understand at an early stage the particular challenges that potential models might pose in their implementation and to gather suggestions for possible alternative approaches to research assessment.
The roundtable event will take place on 1 July, 13.30 – 15.30. If you are interested in participating, please submit an expression of interest to attend by signing up to waitlistr. As this is a roundtable event, a representative sample will be selected from the expressions of interest. The deadline for expressions of interest is 11am on 21 June. You will be notified by 25 June if you have been allocated a place at the event.
