Laura Himanen is a Research Specialist working at the Research and Innovation Services at Tampere University. She is involved in the development, monitoring and reporting of research-related activities in accordance with the University’s strategy. She is a member of the national steering group for responsible evaluation of a researcher and the expert panel in culture for open scholarship. Laura’s expertise is in knowledge-based strategic planning. She is very familiar with different indicators of scientific productivity as well as methodologies of research assessment and university rankings.
