In May 2020, the winners of the second INORMS Awards for Excellence in Research Management Leadership will be announced and presented with their awards in Hiroshima, Japan, during the INORMS 2022 Congress.
Each member association will be invited to nominate just one individual and the search for ARMA’s nominee starts now!
Eligibility Criteria
The INORMS Awards for Excellence in Research Management Leadership have been established to recognise outstanding examples of research management leaders who have made substantial contributions to the research management profession internationally.
All candidates must be nominated, although the nominator need not be an ARMA member. Self-nomination is not permitted and serving Board members of ARMA are not eligible to be nominated. excellenc
Nominators must:
- ensure that their nominee is a current signed-up member of ARMA;
- be able to provide evidence of how their nominee’s contributions are congruent with the objectives of INORMS;
- be able to provide evidence of their nominee’s outstanding contributions to the research management profession; and
- provide evidence of how their nominee will continue to provide visionary leadership in research management internationally.
Nominators should submit their case for nomination (maximum 2 sides of A4) along with a short CV of their nominee to Hamish.macandrew@arma.ac.uk. The closing date for nominations is Friday 12th April. Shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend an interview w/c 20th May. The winning candidate will be announced at the ARMA Conference in Belfast in June.
