I look forward to working with our current Chair Steph Bales over the coming year to ensure that I am fully prepared to take on this role. The strength of ARMA comes from its membership and ensuring that the needs and expectations of members remain central to our activities will be an important feature of my tenure as Chair. However, the world of research management is one of increasing complexity with a diversity of career paths and roles, and challenges which demand sophisticated solutions developed across teams and across traditional boundaries. From a strong base ARMA is well positioned to reach out and work more closely with others to support our members in meeting these challenges. My vision therefore, is for an increasingly connected ARMA – increasingly connected with you, our members, with other professional services, with our academic and researcher colleagues, and with our sister associations around the world. I strongly believe that this connectedness is the key to the continued resilience and prosperity of our profession, and our association, and I can’t wait to get started.” [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
