Vacancies for ARMA’s new Qualifications Working Groups – new call.

New closing date for Expressions of Interest: Monday 19th April

In January, we put out a call for members of our new Qualifications Working Group. Given the challenges accompanying the current Covid lockdown period, we decided to pause plans for inaugurating this group.

We have now decided to reopen the Call, with a substantially longer application window. We hope this gives you a little more time to consider applying.

The revised closing date for expressions of interest is Monday 19th April.

Qualifications Working Group

There are 6 posts available to members in this Working Group, which has been established by the Professional Development Committee to oversee and evaluate ARMA’s Qualifications programme, and make recommendations for its improvement and development.

The objective of this Working Group is to ensure that ARMA has a flourishing, innovative and relevant Qualifications programme that delivers to the standards set by ATHE as well as ensuring an outstanding student experience for our participating members.

We are looking for members with experience of, and interest in, formal learning, and how this is an evolving picture;  who understand the importance of quality and compliance with third-party standards and what is required to evidence this;  who have reasonable knowledge of the many roles that comprise the RMA profession, and an appreciation of how these are evolving.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants should also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a research administration/management role and a good awareness of ARMA.

These posts are unpaid, and all meetings are likely to be via Teams.
