Historic England HEI Research Alignment Project

Historic England is seeking to get a better overview and understanding of what historic environment associated research is currently being undertaken in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and has commissioned MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) to undertake this research alignment exercise.

Institutions are invited to submit information on projects aligned to the Historic England Strategy and Agenda. Click to download a spreadsheet to capture project information and a link to a survey to circulate to researchers in your institutions (https://forms.gle/j4SJaRzTbLFDdi6h9).

This is a fantastic opportunity to improve the visibility of your research with Historic England. Your participation in this research is vital in ensuring Historic England have an accurate record of relevant research taking place across the HEI sector.

The information you provide will be mapped against Historic England’s strategic research areas to help improve strategic planning and facilitate the development of closer relationships with HEIs, leading to a better understanding of the potential for collaborative working.
