Spotlight on ROCG

ARMA Director and ROCG member, Sapna Marwaha attended a recent meeting of the UKRI Research Organisation Consultation Group.

ROCG provide UKRI with engagement and advice from a Research Organisation (RO) and broader research management perspective on policies, processes and administrative arrangements associated with UKRI funding. For more information, check out the attached powerpoint induction presentation.

At their last meeting, members exchanged views on the Covid grants that had been made available, heard the latest on the new Simpler & Better Funding programme, and discussed the handling of complex cases surrounding research integrity and bullying/harrassment. Briefings were also given on the UK’s participation in Horizon Europe, Funding Assurance, changes to ODA funding and Trusted Research.
