How long is a PhD? This session will explore issues related to completion. With minimum and maximum durations, differences between funding and programme length, changing funder requirements, writing up, financial pressures on students, the role of the supervisor and different project needs – there are many factors that can impact successful completion. This is an open discussion session to explore these topics and discuss how we can effectively support PGRs to successfully complete.

The session is informal and offers an opportunity to share insights, ask questions and connect with colleagues who understand the complexities of the Postgraduate Research. The session is not recorded to enable everyone to speak freely and have an open discussion.
