ARMA-KEUK Leaders Forum

Join research and knowledge exchange leaders from across the UK for a joint Knowledge Exchange UK (formerly PraxisAuril) and ARMA Leaders Forum, taking place in central London.

This event provides a valuable opportunity to network with peers, share good practice, and discuss strategic challenges and opportunities facing the research and innovation community.

The Forum is designed for senior leaders responsible for research management, knowledge exchange and innovation or commercialisation functions within UK-based higher education institutions, research institutes, independent research organisations, public sector research establishments, Catapult centres, funders, government departments, NHS Bodies, and mission groups.

Members and non-members are welcome.

Connect with fellow leaders in knowledge exchange and research management as we explore key issues shaping the sector. These are likely to include:

• Research Professional Futures project
  Find out more about this major, four-year project that aims to deliver sector-wide transformation in how research is supported, structured, and sustained.
• National Security and Innovation Regulation
• Lessons from models of joint service delivery
• The impact of AI in KE and research management process and roles
  AI can support productivity and improve processes, but what impact is it having now on KE and RM roles and how will it shape them in the future? Our discussion will focus on AI tools and platforms to support delivery whilst considering the human-factor impact on careers and role profiles.
• Political leadership
  As we welcome a new Prime Minister to Westminster, we consider the impact of his agenda and the personnel and structural changes that will be introduced over the summer. We will also consider leadership at the regional and local political levels and how those roles are impacting knowledge exchange including via political prioritisation and funding.

This is an opportunity to exchange insights, discuss emerging priorities, and contribute to conversations that will help shape the future of research and innovation across the UK.  Alongside facilitated discussions we will ensure that delegates have time for networking and making new connections across our two communities.
