Rachael leads on the design and implementation of partnership agreements with UK and overseas bodies that support UK sector access to international funding opportunities for research collaboration, mobility or knowledge exchange. The current portfolio of partnerships encompass management and/or delivery support roles in several capacity building schemes, including the Rutherford Fund, the Newton Fund and the UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI). She is also the strategic lead for UUKi’s International Research Development Network (IRDN), a network of more than 400 research and professional services staff from 100+ member institutions which convenes to discuss developments in the international research funding space.
