The SANTHE-GCRF GROW team developed and ran three workshops which examined:
Forty participants from across the world were invited to attend the workshops and share knowledge and best practice in the above areas. The team then used the workshop contents to create a toolkit containing templates for research management professionals to use throughout the programme life cycle. There are also plans to use this cohort to form the basis of an international network of research managers that will go beyond the IRMSDP initiative.

For our Cradle to Grave workshop series, we explored the importance of the pre-award design process and proposal development phase. We then moved to how best to establish reporting frameworks for implementing collaborative research projects focusing on key challenges and considerations associated with equitable partnerships, financial management, communication and data management. We ended with key considerations when finalising programme implementation and an in-depth discussion on ensuring legacy and accountability to a range of stakeholders.
This toolkit and resources bring together some of the materials covered in the workshop series – and more.
