ARMA Meta Research SIG Drop-In Session: UK Metascience Unit Funding and the Role of Research Managers
Event Details
Are you interested in the UK Metascience Unit’s funding opportunities? This session will explore how research managers can apply for, and lead, metascience projects. We will focus on two current calls: the Metascience Sandpit: Scientometrics for Research Assessment (closing 26th February) and Metascience Research Grants Round 2 (opening 12th February).
The SIG co-champions will provide an overview of each scheme, followed by insights from two research managers who have successfully led metascience-funded projects. Hear about their experiences applying for and managing these awards, and discover how research managers can position themselves as principal investigators in this growing field.
