Event Details

This year, as last year, eligible universities will receive funding from the QR Strategic Priorities Fund (QR SPF), to support research activity that assists evidence-based policy making.

Organised in partnership with Praxis Auril, this event will offer an opportunity for colleagues not only to hear about and discuss the effective use of QR SPF, but also to consider how the funding provides an opportunity to embed policy engagement with research into universities’ practice. Research England will offer an overview of the fund and some thoughts about effective practice and building sustainable policy engagement, and four different institutions will speak about their experiences of managing this funding. There will then be time for a panel Q&A session, where participants will be able to put their questions to the speakers.

All colleagues working in RMA roles in different universities are welcome, but this will be of particular interest to those who are responsible for managing such funds and those involved in working with policymakers.
