ARMA REF SIG Drop In Session: Reflections on the future of research assessment
Event Details
Join us for an informal REF SIG drop-in following the ARMA conference policy hackathon session, Shaping the Next REF.
We will reflect on ideas emerging from the conference discussion and from contributions shared through the SIG Padlet, considering what research assessment could look like after REF 2029. Discussion will explore what a future system might value, how assessment might happen, what trade-offs would need to be managed, and what foundations may be needed to support longer-term reform.
