What is impact all about? Why should I be interested and how can I get involved? Join three impact experts for an introduction to a topic that is not only central to research but is also being increasingly assessed.
The speakers are Dr Pauline Addis, Research Impact Officer at Newcastle University and ARMA Impact SIG co-lead, Dr Laura McGinty, research consultant at Rocket Science Ltd and Dr Calum Kirk, Impact Development Manager, University of Reading ; and together they bring a wealth of experience in a variety of research areas. You will have an opportunity to discuss a particular topic in breakout rooms and ask questions relating to impact.

This session is aimed at those who are relatively new to impact and are seeking to broaden their knowledge, discuss their role with others in a similar field or learn about impact from a new perspective.
