With continuous developments in Open Science policies as well as in data protection legislation (e.g. GDPR), Higher Education Institutions must ensure their research data is gathered, managed, disseminated and preserved appropriately and lawfully. This involves a wide range of behaviours and systems, which, combined, lead not only to policy compliance but also to HEIs being able to raise their profile as more credible and impactful research institutions.

This webinar will introduce the key aspects of Research Data Management (RDM) and dissemination, including funders’ requirements and expectations, institutional policies, costing and sources to identify good practice. The webinar will focus on the implications of RDM for research managers, equipping you with the knowledge needed to support and advise researchers effectively in your day-to-day role.
