Join us for an informative study tour with Universal Impact (UI), a subsidiary of The Conversation UK – a global media organisation with a monthly audience of 5.5 million readers. This online tour will provide ARMA members with a unique opportunity to learn how UI and The Conversation support universities with public engagement and research dissemination.
During this session, attendees will hear from editors at The Conversation, including the Global Editor, Stephen Khan, about the value of public engagement and what editors look for in a media pitch. This panel will include a Q&A.
UI’s Head of Innovation, Dr Katy Chenoweth, will also lead a 30-minute seminar on how to navigate the UK media landscape to identify stories from their researchers’ work and effectively communicate them to a diverse global audience.
