
Anna Brown works with academic colleagues at Durham University to develop and maintain effective research portfolios. Her role supporting international research involves facilitating successful collaborations with partners across the world, championing equitability. Examples include involvement in the development of the N8-ARUA collaboration, in particular with the Centres of Excellence in Urbanisation and Habitable Cities and Water. She also led the UK side of the IRMSDP project “A Competencies Tool Kit for Research Managers and Administrators”, working with research managers from Kenya. Previously she held a Research Operations role, and before that supported academic consultancy and service provision.
