Dr Julie Blake has several years experience as a Senior Research Impact practitioner, and has worked in higher education institutions, supporting academics to develop impact case studies for REF2021 and towards REF2029. Dr Julie Blake is also a Visiting Lecturer and an Affiliate Social Science Researcher at the University of Birmingham. Her passion to champion collaboration led Dr Julie Blake to founding the South-East Universities Engagement and Impact Network (SEIN) which comprises of an exceptional team of colleagues in 14 universities, who share good practice and knowledge exchange. Dr Julie Blake is also Founder and Director of CO-INNOVATE ® which specialises in training and development for academics and their industry partners in public engagement, which she believes, is the lifeblood to creating real-world change and societal impact.
