Eva Kagiri-Kalanzi, Head of Partnerships and Communities at Scientia Scripta.

Eva Kagiri-Kalanzi

Eva is responsible for Scientia Scripta’s work on science engagement, working with research organisations, academics, R&I led businesses and research funders on ethical and inclusive research. She also has extensive expertise on international research cooperation. She previously ran a nationwide programme on Finnish – Africa Science, Technology and Innovation Policy and acted as an advisor on the same. Until last year, she was based at the Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA) UK, working on strengthening Africa – UK research cooperation and research management ecosystems in Africa.

Eva’s interest in higher education spans across fostering equitable partnerships in South – North relationships and enhancing the diversity and inclusion of voices in evidence-based policymaking and research partnerships. She previously served as a member of the EDI working group at the University Policy Engagement Network (UPEN) and ARMA’s EDI advisory group. In addition to her current role at Scientia Scripta, Eva serves on the International Advisory Board of the Horizons Institute at Leeds University. She holds an Msc. in Environmental Science and International Development, post-graduate diploma in Education and Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Technology. Connect with Eva on LinkedIn.
