Since 2011, Ged has worked at the University of Leeds supporting academics of all disciplines to generate the impact they want to see emerge from their research. He has led researcher development programmes, careers and academic writing development services. Before working in HE, he was a consultant in the oil, gas and utility sectors (essentially the knowledge broker that papers on impact processes / models often refer too). His research background is in physical chemistry.
