Jenny is Head of Economic Development at Durham University responsible for strategic place based project development and delivery at the University. The focus is on knowledge exchange and using the universities expertise to support economic growth in the region. Recent projects include the implementation of a University Enterprise Zone, establishing incubator and enterprise support alongside Durham County Council and delivery of an industrial PhD scheme with local SMEs. She also leads on the strategic relationship management with a number of key accounts including LEPs, local authority and Catapult network.

Jenny previously worked in Central Government within BIS delivering the Manufacturing Advisory Service, AMSCI and developing manufacturing policy and prior to that at the Regional Development Agency (One NorthEast) leading on the regional Business Link contracts and funding.
