Libby McCue, CPFA, is Director of Research Operations in the Edinburgh Research Office at the University of Edinburgh. The Research Operations Directorate provides specialist knowledge and targeted support to the University of Edinburgh’s research community across the research lifecycle, including at pre-award, contracting and post-award stages. 

Libby joined the University of Edinburgh in 2012 from Fife Council, where she qualified as a Chartered Public Finance Accountant. After joining, she undertook several finance business partnering roles before transitioning into research management to serve as the Head of Research Finance prior to her current role. Libby completed her PG Diploma in Business Administration at Napier University.
