Madhuri has over 14 years’ experience as an RMA and currently heads research operations at the George Institute for Global Health in India. Madhuri started her career as a grants adviser in a funding organization in 2010 and moved on to pre-awards grants management in an Indian public health research institute in 2013. Since then, she has diversified her portfolio to research operations and currently her team supports researchers across grants management, data management, statistics, project operations, capacity building activities and quality assurance. She is a fellow of the Wellcome Trust/DBT India Research Management Initiative (IRMI) and member of IRMI Professional Development Committee, in addition to being a Co-PI of the RAAAP-3 project. Madhuri holds a Doctorate degree in Biochemistry and is an adjunct faculty at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal University.
