Steve Popham
| I have just begun an exciting new role as the Research Recovery Rates Programme Manager at the University of Bath, drawing on over 20 years of experience in research finance, cost recovery and sustainability across the UK higher education sector into a role seeking to understand and improve research financial sustainability at Bath. Before joining Bath, I was the Assistant Director for Research Finance, Governance & Systems at the University of Exeter, having worked in various research support roles there, leading to this role. This included oversight of the finance support function for Exeter’s research portfolio, alongside responsibility for research ethics, governance, compliance and systems. I’ve enjoyed my career within the ever changing and always challenging research support environment, especially sharing my knowledge and experience through ARMA workshops, which I have been involved in since 2012. |
