Event Details

This workshop is an ARMA Good Practice Exchange event to support colleagues who support academics with the development of GCRF funding applications. A follow-on from previous “Understanding GCRF” and “GCRF 2018′ workshops, we have a whole host of speakers who bring a depth of experience from a range of institutions who have seen success with GCRF, but we would stress that the workshop is mainly interactive. Ideally, you would have been supporting colleagues with their GCRF funding applications and would be able to join group discussions in relation to this.

The focus of the day will be on the pre-award development of applications, and will predominantly benefit colleagues who work in research development roles (although we would stress that everyone is welcome!). GCRF has been ongoing now for a couple of years, there have been numerous lessons learned but given the changing landscape, we must continue to evolve in order to be successful with our applications. The workshop provides a great opportunity to network with colleagues, consider key challenges and opportunities we face with regards to GCRF, and share best practice with peers.
