Being an assessor is an excellent way of keeping yourself updated about the fundamentals of our profession as well as keeping your critical eye in. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience helping to support the next generation of ARMA professionals, actively steering their learning and building their confidence. There’s also a small remuneration for each assignment assessed.
ARMA qualifications are a core part of the Association’s professional development offering, accredited by the ATHE. Our qualifications have been designed to support research administrators, managers and leaders to develop the skills they need to succeed in their roles, and to take their careers to the next level. Since launching in 2013, we have supported over 850 learners. To ensure we maintain the quality and integrity of the qualifications, and to keep pace with the growing demand, we are now looking to extend our pool of assessors for our Certificate in Research Management Foundation and Advanced programmes. Assessors are usually existing ARMA members, who bring expertise in the particular topics covered by the qualifications. They may have already completed one of the Certificates and now want to use that knowledge to develop further skills. You can find out more about the qualifications by accessing the CRM Handbooks.
If you would like to join our assessor pool, please email qualifications@arma.ac.uk with your CV and expression of interest demonstrating your expertise in any of the above units no later than 5pm on Tuesday 28 July.
If you would like further information or to discuss informally, please contact qualifications@arma.ac.uk.
