Call for Abstracts opens for ARMA 2027

We are pleased to announce that the call for abstracts for ARMA 2027 is now open. 

ARMA 2027 will take place from 14-16 June 2027 in Birmingham, bringing together research management and administration professionals from across the sector to share expertise, showcase innovation, and explore the opportunities and challenges shaping our profession. The conference provides an excellent platform to present your work, exchange ideas with colleagues, and contribute to important conversations across the research management landscape. 

We invite members and non-members to submit proposals for parallel sessions and poster presentations. Submissions are welcomed across the conference themes, as well as other emerging and topical areas relevant to research management and administration. 

Abstract Submission Essentials 

New for 2027, the Conference Working Group will be hosting two interactive Abstract Submission Essentials sessions to support prospective abstract submitters. 

These sessions will provide an overview of the abstract submission process, explain how abstracts are reviewed and selected, and offer practical guidance on developing a strong submission. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice directly from members of the Conference Working Group. 

Session dates: 

• Wednesday 14 October 2026, 10:00-11:00 
• Thursday 15 October 2026, 13:00-14:00 

These sessions are designed to provide guidance and practical advice on the abstract submission process. Whether you are submitting for the first time or are an experienced presenter, they will help you maximise your chances of developing a strong submission.

• Abstract Submission Opens: 29 September 2026 
• Abstract Submission Deadline: 27 November 2026 
• Notification of Review Outcome: 29 January 2027 
• Deadline for accepted presenters to register and confirm attendance: 2 March 2027
