ARMA is delighted to announce that Amaka Nwagbara will be joining the Association as their new Head of Membership Engagement.
This follows a significant Finance & Governance Review exercise carried out by the Association earlier this year which recommended the appointment of an enhanced senior management team.
Amaka’s role will centre around growing ARMA’s membership and developing our membership offer, including leading our communications strategy.
Amaka is currently the Member Engagement Manager at the Royal Statistical Society. She has worked in the membership sector for over ten years and has a strong track record of delivering member engagement programmes and initiatives.
Announcing the appointment, Matthew McCallum, ARMA’s Director of Member Engagement, said,” We attracted some brilliant candidates to this role and we are incredibly pleased to be able to welcome somebody of such high calibre to be our new Head of Membership Engagement. This new role forms part of the Executive Office leadership team structure put in place following our governance review. Alongside our new CEO Alasdair Cameron and Head of Programmes, Amaka will provide additional strategic leadership to grow our membership and further strengthen the voice of members in shaping our services. Amaka brings a wealth of experience in member engagement and we were particularly impressed by the innovative approach that she will bring to the new brief. I’m looking forward to working with her to continue to develop our engagement with the ARMA community, keeping members at the centre of our thinking as we deliver the new strategic plan.”
Amaka Nwagbara added, “I’m pleased to be joining ARMA as its Head of Membership Engagement. I am really looking forward to working with the team to build on the progress made towards supporting and engaging the RMA community.”
Amaka Nwagbara takes up her post on 26th September.
