Burnout in Research Administrators Study: findings published in NCURA’s Research Management Review

Many ARMA members participated in the Burnout in Research Administrators Survey last year, led by Kosta Tabakakis of the University of Otago.

The findings have now been published in Vol. 24 of NCURA’s Research Management Review: https://www.ncura.edu/Publications/ResearchManagementReview/DevelopingEditions.aspx

The findings conclude that burnout is common among research administrators; that research organizations are responsible for providing healthy work environments to ensure positive client, research administrator, and organizational outcomes; and that future research is required to examine workplace approaches to improving the psychosocial work environment.
