Editorial Working Group seeks new members

Are you interested in helping colleagues to share their knowledge and insights with others? We are currently recruiting new members of our Editorial Working Group (EWG), which is responsible for doing just that through our membership publications. These are currently The Protagonist magazine and PinPoint policy briefings, but we are currently reviewing these and hoping to launch a new pro-active, flexible and online service.

As a member of EWG you will play an important part in developing this platform, identifying important themes and inviting new writers to contribute, assessing submissions and preparing articles for publication. We are keen for the EWG to be representative of our membership and, having looked at our current configuration, would particularly like to invite expressions of interest from colleagues: 

• in post-award roles
• at an early point in their careers
• based in the North of England, the Midlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland
• working for non-university organisations such as research institutes, funders, charities, public sector research establishments (PSREs), independent research organisations (IROs) and Catapults.

Note you do have to be an ARMA member to be on the working group. EWG members are appointed on a 3-year basis. The posts are also unpaid, and all meetings are likely to be via Teams. EWG members meets four times a year, with each meeting running for approximately 60 – 90 minutes.
