Morning all,
INORMS 2018 is almost upon us and we’re pleased to let you know that there will be 8 sessions running under the Research Integrity and Ethics theme this year! This is in addition to the excellent poster session that will also be running.
Now, here’s where we would like you, the SIG members, to get involved –
Milly and I are running the following two workshops:
A global view: mapping ethical disparities, risks and opportunities in international development research collaborations
Crossing boundaries: research ethics when collaborating across national, sectoral, or disciplinary borders and cultures
As part of these workshops, we hope to use anonymised / hypothetical case studies and examples of ethical problems and dilemmas to explore how we can best support and facilitate researchers, research ethics committees and associated processes and procedures.
We’d be very grateful for any further relevant examples or topical questions that you may have experienced at your own institution, which we can then explore and discuss on the day (no matter how big or small). If so, please do get in touch with either Milly (mzimeta@turing.ac.uk) or myself (mip32@aber.ac.uk) ideally by this Friday (1st).
Any submission will be anonymised and we will do our best to provide feedback to SIG members.
