IT systems for ethics approvals

I’m aware this question has been raised previously so apologies for going over old ground.

We are exploring system based options for the ethical review process at Stirling so far I’ve only been able to find two providers – Infonetica and epiGenesys. I’d be interested if anyone has come across any other options?

Our procurement team have also asked me to raise whether anyone knows of any JISC frameworks for the procurement of ethics systems?

Hello Rachel,

I have been going through the same review process. EDGE was far too NHS based for us. I then looked at both Documas and IRMA from University office. Bother were excellent systems and would have worked well but the costs associated were too high for our team of 2 to justify. They might be worth you looking into if you have a good pot of money. I have ended up asking a colleague in IT to try and design a system for us to use. Sorry i know this is probably not the helpful answer you were hoping for but perhaps there are some more options for you to explore.
