Joint Clinical Offices: KPIs and Framework agreements

Dear colleagues,
The University of Sussex is making good progress in establishing a Joint Clinical Research Office with its Trust partners and the University of Brighton.
The JCRO is expected to “soft launch” in the early part of 2019 on the appointment of a Head of the Joint Office.
In the meantime, a) a set of KPIs need to be established for the JCRO, and b) the partners wish to establish an MoU between them, which addresses over-arching principles such as flow of funding, and sponsorship arrangements for joint projects.
I’d be interested in hearing from other Universities and Trusts that have KPIs for Joint Offices, and / or have Framework agreements in place addressing the range of matters flagged above.
If you are able to share these and any insights into what works well, or what you might do differently, would be very helpful.
