Reaching out

Call for Expressions of Interest extended to Tuesday 6 April .

At ARMA, we’ve been reflecting on what being truly representative of and accessible to our community means.  We want all of the work that we do, including our EDI work, to be informed by professional expertise, lived experience and the needs of our community.  With that in mind, we’re reaching out to invite individuals from underrepresented and underserved groups to showcase their talent and experience and get more involved in the community.

Over our last strategic cycle, we’ve increased the range and number of opportunities for our members to get involved with, and contribute to, their Association.  In our new cycle, we’ll be shifting our focus to ensuring that those opportunities are accessible to and occupied by the full breadth of talent that the community we serve and represent has to offer. 

Whether you’d like to tell the story of your journey, the barriers you’ve faced, the successes you’ve achieved, your insights into our current landscape, what you’d like to leave in 2020, or the aspirations you have for yourself, your community or the whole sector in 2021 and beyond, we want to hear it.  We want to hear from new voices.  We want to hear new perspectives. 

If you are part of an underrepresented or underserved group and you are interested in getting more involved, please get in touch.  Your contribution could be writing a short blogpost or recording a short video or podcast, or something else. We’d love to hear your ideas!

Our first call for expressions of interest now closes on the revised date of Tuesday 6 April at 9am.  Please include a short statement about yourself and the subject matter you’d like to cover.  We will work with you to develop content for publication through our ARMA community channels. All expressions of interest should be emailed to enquiries@arma.ac.uk.
