Request for input – Research Analytics for Grant Applications

Over the past few months, Jisc have been looking at how a research analytics service could support universities in making better decisions. This involved understanding problems experienced by a wide range of sector stakeholders and collating a shortlist of use cases with clear potential for the development of an analytics solution.

Feedback from institutions to date has led Jisc to prioritise the area of grant applications, and they are seeking assistance from ARMA members to evaluate the potential of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and text-and-data mining (TDM) to deliver analytics at different levels, from the preparation of a grant application to the analysis of sector-wide statistics.
