We are very excited to announce the first of our virtual study tours, to be hosted by The British Academy!
Date: 4 June 2020 (Zoom)
Only Open to ARMA members
Closing date for Expressions of Interest: Tue 26 May 2020 (9am)
ARMA’s Study Tours are free events which are hosted by a research funder, learned society, government department or relevant partner for our members. Our Study Tours provide a unique forum for funders to disseminate information aimed specifically at topics of interest to members. At the same time, Tours facilitate opportunities for networking and debate, giving our members the opportunity to ask searching questions, and funders the opportunity to test out new ideas, using our members as a very useful sounding board.
Morning Session (10.00 – 11.30)
The morning session will include an overview of the Academy, providing detailed insights into the research funding and international schemes, and explain the ways that the Academy communicates and engages with its stakeholders. There will be opportunities for questions and suggestions.

After an extended lunch break, Participants will join small interactive sessions run at 14.00 and again at 14.45 which will give the opportunity to engage in two of the following three topics (1) Equality, diversity and inclusion, (2) Supporting Early Career Researchers, (3) Engaging with institutions and research offices,
