I recently spent a day in Lisbon with the Ambassadors of the EARMA RM Roadmap project. The project is aiming to draw on inputs from across Europe to strengthen research management and highlight its important contribution to the European Research Area. You can read more about the project here (https://www.rmroadmap.eu/ ).
Over the day I had a chance to talk with many of the other country ambassadors and discuss common challenges and the value to be gained from collective action. We heard from the European Commission that research management is increasingly being recognised, but that there is a need for a common definition of what it is to allow the various conversation to better framed. The second co-creation session is looking for views on what might be an appropriate collective term.
I’ve created a short survey with the top answers from the recent RM Roadmap survey and would like to get your views. I’m happy for you to suggest a different term, if you think you have a better one. I’m also interested to get your thoughts on why a particular term resonates with you. The survey will stay open until 18 April.
