Draft programme launched for ARMA 2024

We are pleased to announce a draft programme for ARMA 2024. The programme features a mix of plenary and parallel sessions, covering topics ranging from Trusted Research to REF, artificial intelligence, funding, research culture and many more. The programme is packed with opportunities to learn good practice, gain valuable insights and discover the latest developments in research management.

There will be interactive workshops on the use of artificial intelligence in grant funding, interdisciplinary research management and integrating policy engagement into the research journey. Delegates will be treated to panel discussions on cultivating a culture of research integrity and getting into research management and the role of ARMA. Equitable partnerships, addressing hierarchical research cultures and benefits of international networks are some of the topics covered in short presentations at the conference.

Don’t miss sessions hosted by ARMA’s special interest groups on Horizon Europe, narrative CVs, reflections on Arts and Humanities, the role of post award, challenges of postgraduate research, internal funding, Q&A with the REF Team.

ARMA 2024 will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, from 18-19 June 2024. Professor Charlotte Deane MBE was recently announced as a plenary speaker at the ARMA 2024, with more keynote announcements coming soon.

As part of our social activities at the conference, a welcome reception will be held at Horatio’s at the Brighton Palace Pier in the evening of Monday 17 June. We are also pleased to be hosting a Gala Dinner at the conference venue on Tuesday 18 June.
