ARMA launches new special interest group on research and innovation culture

We are pleased to announce the creation of a new Research and Innovation Culture special interest group (SIG).

The Research and Innovation Culture SIG aims to provide an open, inclusive and supportive network for those involved in developing and/or reporting on research and innovation culture. It aims to keep abreast of the rapid developments in this area and provide a forum for discussion and support.

The SIG is open to all ARMA members with an interest in research and innovation culture and has a focus on both the operational aspects and strategic implications for institutions.

The activities of the SIG will be led by its SIG Champions: Dr Hayley Clissold (Wellcome Sanger Institute), Andrew Moss (Durham University), Dr Louise Stanley (University of Dundee) and Dr Laura Stowe-Evans (University of Wales Trinity St David).

The SIG Champions said, ‘We are absolutely delighted to see the official launch of this SIG group focused on Research and Innovation Culture and really look forward to working and discussion with the community on a range of topics, aiming to make the workplace better for all’

ARMA SIGs provide a platform for members to connect, address challenges, share good practice, and create a transparent and supportive structure, both for those members working within the specialism and for those who want to increase their knowledge. The SIG champions will work together to plan and deliver 2-3 information-sharing events each calendar year, as well as curating SIG resources on the ARMA website and facilitating discussions on the SIG JiscMail list.
