ARMA qualifications are a core part of the Association’s professional development offering, accredited by the ATHE. Our qualifications have been designed to support research administrators, managers and leaders to develop the skills they need to succeed in their roles, and to take their careers to the next level. Since launching in 2013, we have supported over 500 learners. To ensure we maintain the quality and integrity of the qualifications, and to keep pace with the growing demand, we are now looking to extend our pool of unit presenters for our Certificate in Research Management Foundation and Advanced qualifications.

Unit presenters are ARMA members who bring their expertise, insight and real-world experience to the topics covered within the qualifications. Many presenters are former learners themselves, keen to give back to the profession while developing their own profile, presentation and facilitation skills. Sessions are delivered online as interactive webinars lasting 90-120 minutes. Existing webinar materials are provided and can be adapted to reflect your own style, experience and examples.

Becoming a qualifications unit presenter is a fantastic opportunity to raise your professional profile, share your expertise with colleagues from across the sector, and contribute to the development of the next generation of research management professionals. It is a rewarding role that allows you to shape learning, inspire confidence, and help others succeed. Presenters also benefit from staying connected to current practice and emerging trends across the profession. An honorarium is available for each presentation delivered.

If you would like to become one of our unit presenters, please email Katherine Carlyon at qualifications@arma.ac.uk no later than 9am, Friday 25 Septemberwith a short CV and supporting statement (no more 400 words) describing why you are interested in this opportunity, stating your preferred units and highlighting your relevant skills. If you would like any further information ahead of the deadline, please do get in touch.
