Mark Hibbett is Head of Research Information Systems at University of the Arts London (UAL), responsible for the technical side of their REF submissions. He has worked at UAL for five years, and before spent 25 years working in medical statistics at Imperial College, UCL, Birkbeck and the University of Leicester. He is also an active member of UAL's Comics Research Hub (CoRH!!), with research interests in transmedia characters, superhero storytelling, and British children's comics and superhero storytelling. His book "Data and Doctor Doom: an empirical approach to transmedia storytelling" was published in 2024 by Palgrave Macmillan.
