Qualification Mentors

This spring, ARMA is recruiting to its pool of Qualification mentors. As with regular mentoring, you’ll still be building a relationship with your mentee and offering advice as a critical friend, but as a Qualifications mentor you’ll be specifically guiding them through the units of our Certificate in Research Management (CRM) programme, either at Foundation or Advanced level.

To become a qualification mentor, you do not need to have any prior experience of our qualifications programme. We’ll invite you to an induction session, and give you access to the handbook and unit resources so that you can see what your mentee is working on.

Our next intake of students for our qualifications programme is Nov 2022. Students usually complete their qualification in 18-24 months, and often work through the units in the order listed in the handbook. We ask that you are available for this time period to support the student through their study plan. We may also match you with one of our current students who require mentor support. The mentee will drive the relationship and you should allow 2-4 hours mentor time for each of the units.
