SIG Representative needed for our Member Engagement Committee

We are seeking a member active in one or more of our Special Interest Groups to join our Member Engagement Committee. This role will commence immediately for a term of 3 years. 

Many members join ARMA because of our specialist communities, our SIGs. We need to ensure that the SIG Voice is present and always heard at our Member Engagement Committees. We currently have a vacancy for this role, which we need to fill urgently. 

The role of the Member Engagement Committee (MEC) is to ensure that the needs and expectations of members and potential members are clearly identified and understood, so that ARMA will be better placed to deliver an appropriate service to members and enhance member experience. For this role, we are seeking nominations from SIG Champions. SIG Champions may self-nominate or nominate an active member of their SIG who is able to take a proactive role in acting as a voice for the SIG community. The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a research administration/management role. What is most important for the role however is that they have a good awareness of ARMA and be able to demonstrate a strong interest in, and enthusiasm for, improving engagement with ARMA members .

This is a volunteering role. At the present time no travel is required as all meetings are likely to be via Teams.
